Investments have been made to modernize the production plant of San Polo (Piacenza), which have led to an overall water consumption saving of about 240.000 cubic meters in the processing season 2021.
Emiliana Conserve’s investment program has also included the purchase of advanced processing machinery to considerably reduce gas consumption and its associated impact on the environment. The first plant will be fully operational as early as the next season in 2022.
All the energy used by the Emiliana Conserve plants comes from renewable energy sources that have a positive environmental impact amounting to the reforestation of an area of 40 hectares.
